What is Stream+?
Stream+ is a bundle of video streaming services that includes Netflix Premium, Apple TV+ and discovery+. This bundle is exclusive to Koodo customers and can be added to any mobile phone plan for a monthly fee. There’s no commitment tied to the service, so you can enjoy it for as long as you’d like and cancel anytime.
What to do if you already have a Netflix, AppleTV+, or discovery+ account
Once you add Stream+, you'll be asked to activate your accounts by either creating new accounts for the services you don't have yet or linking your existing account so you don't lose your watch history or account details. Once you link your existing account, your billing will transfer over to Koodo.

Once you add Stream+ to a mobile phone plan and activate your Netflix, Apple TV+, and discovery+ accounts, you can start watching on your TV, laptop, smartphone, or tablet.

How to get Stream+
Existing customers
If you're an existing Koodo customer, you can add Stream+ through Self Serve.
When you log in to Self Serve, you’ll see the Stream+ pop-up notification, which will give you the option to add it to your plan.
Alternatively, you can follow these steps:
- Log in to Self Serve
- From the Self Serve drop-down menu, select Mobile services
- In the “Add-ons available for you” section, locate Stream+, then select Add to plan.

New customers
If you're looking to join Koodo to get exclusive access to Stream+, you can add it online during your transaction or anytime afterwards through Self Serve.

Heads up! Stream+ can only be consumed after your new device has been shipped to you and you’ve created a Self Serve account.
Managing your service with Stream+
How to start watching content once you’ve purchased Stream+
To start watching your favourite movies and shows, first you’ll need to activate your Netflix, Apple TV+ and discovery+ accounts in Self Serve by selecting “Activate” beside each service name after you add the add-on:

If you already have an account with Netflix, Apple TV+, or discovery+, you’ll be able to link your existing account during the Stream+ activation process so you don't lose your watch history or account details. Once you link your existing account, your billing will transfer over to Koodo, and you should no longer be charged by the streaming service provider.
How to cancel Stream+
Since there’s no commitment tied to Stream+, you can cancel the bundle at any time through Self Serve:
- Log in to Self Serve
- From the “Self Serve” drop-down menu, select Mobile services
- On the “Mobile services” page, under the “My add-ons” section, select Manage add-ons
- On the add-ons page, locate "Stream+" in your list of add-ons, then select the 'x' to remove it.
What happens to your Netflix, Apple TV+, and discovery+ accounts when you cancel Stream+
If you cancel Stream+, you’ll no longer have access to your streaming accounts through Koodo. Your subscription may automatically renew with the streaming service provider if your previous method of payment is still on your account and up to date. Otherwise, you may have to update your payment information to continue your service with the streaming service provider.
On your Koodo bill, you’ll be charged a prorated amount starting from the first day of your billing cycle up until the day you cancel Stream+ with Koodo.

FAQ
How will billing work if I already pay for Netflix, Apple TV+, or discovery+?
Once you add Stream+ to your Koodo account, you’ll be charged starting from the day of your purchase. This means you’ll likely see a prorated amount for Stream+ on your first bill. If you’re new to Koodo and are waiting for your device and/or SIM card to be shipped out to you, you won't be charged until your order is shipped.
After you add Stream+, it’s important that you activate your Netflix, Apple TV+ and discovery+ accounts in Self Serve to avoid double billing. During the activation process, you’ll be able to link your existing accounts so you don't lose your watch history or account details. Once you link your accounts, your billing will transfer over to Koodo.

Apple TV+: Apple will suspend the payment to the Apple TV+ plan when Stream+ is added and remain active on the Apple TV+ plan provided through Stream+
I have an AppleOne subscription that includes Apple TV+. Will this work with Stream+?
If you have an Apple TV+ account through an AppleOne subscription, you’ll still be able to link your account to Stream+, but you won’t receive any credits or partial refunds for Apple TV+ from Apple or Koodo.
Does streaming on my mobile device count towards my data usage allowance?
Streaming movies and shows will count towards your data usage allowance if you're using your mobile data. To use less mobile data, you can connect to Wi-Fi when streaming on your mobile device, or you can download content for offline viewing when the option is available.
