Note: This page applies to all Unlimited Province-wide plans as of February 23, 2021
Province-wide calling means you can make outgoing calls to any number within your home province. Plus, you’ll receive all incoming calls across Canada, regardless of the province they’re from.
If you’re travelling to another province, you can make province-wide calls while you’re there. You’ll still receive unlimited incoming calls, but you'll be charged a long-distance fee if you call your home province or any other province than the one you're located in, unless you have a Canada-wide calling add-on.
For example, if you lived in B.C.:
Making calls
• Unlimited outgoing calls to any phone number in B.C.
Receiving calls
• Unlimited incoming calls from any province in Canada and from any country
And you travelled to Quebec:
Making calls
• Unlimited outgoing calls to any phone number in Quebec.
• You won't be able to make outgoing calls to any other province, including B.C.
Receiving calls
• Unlimited incoming calls from any province in Canada and from any country
Making calls to a destination outside of your home province
If you call a number outside your home province, you’ll be charged a Canadian long-distance rate of $0.25/min.
