With Koodo Shock-Free Data®, we’ll text you when you reach 50%, 90% and 100% of your monthly data limit. When you reach 100% of your data limit, we pause your data and you can choose if you want to add more, right from your phone.
Starting February, 2018 (at the beginning of your new bill cycle), somebody on the account with authority will be able to unpause data by adding a one-time data top-up or pay-per-use from their phone or via Self Serve at koodo.com/selfserve. A customer without authority will need to contact somebody on the account with authority to unpause data via Self Serve at koodo.com/selfserve.
Starting February 2, 2018 (rolled out by bill cycle), all customers on an account will receive a text alert and their data will be paused when their account has reached $500 in data overage charges. Any one time data top-up or pay-per-use charges incurred by any subscriber on the account will contribute to the data overage charges for the account. Somebody on the account with authority can unpause data by calling *611.

Starting February 2, 2018 (rolled out by bill cycle), all customers on an account will receive an SMS alert at the following account level thresholds of pay-per-use roaming data:
When the account reaches $100 in pay-per-use data roaming charges, roaming data will be paused for all customers on the account and they will receive an SMS alert.
Customers with authority on the account can unpause roaming data for everyone on the account by replying to the SMS alert or through Self Serve.
Customers with authority who have an email address on file will receive email notifications when someone on their account is roaming.
When the account reaches $500 in roaming data charges, roaming data will be paused for everyone on the account. Somebody on the account with authority can unpause roaming data by calling *611.
