Call Forwarding can be added to your account for $3/month in Self Serve.

Activating Call Forwarding

Take a look at our chart below to find the activation code you need.

Once you've found your code, follow these steps to activate Call Forwarding:

  • Enter the code before the area code and number you want to forward your calls to.
  • Enter # and then press Send.
  • You'll see a message notifying you that Call Forwarding has been activated.

Activating/De-activating Call Forwarding

Example with Call Forwarding Unconditional:

  • Dial *21* 416-123-4567# and press Send.

Deactivating Call Forwarding

  • Enter the deactivation code and press Send.

Example with Call Forwarding Unconditional:

  • Dial #21# and press Send.

Just so you know: The pay per use rate for call forwarding is $0.60 per minute.

FAQ

1 - How can I forward calls without being able to turn on my phone?

There are 2 options:

Option 1: You can take the SIM card out of your broken phone and insert it into another working phone. You can then activate call forwarding on the working phone.

Option 2: You can schedule a callback through Koodo Assist, so a rep can change the Call Forwarding setting for you.

2 - How can I forward calls from my landline to my Koodo cell phone?

Call Forwarding has to be activated by the landline, not your Koodo cell phone. You’ll need to contact the provider of your landline phone and ask how to forward the calls to another number.

3 - Can I forward calls to a number outside my zone?

On a Koodo cell phone, you can configure call forwarding to any number in the North American Numbering format, ie, NPA-NXX-XXXX, which includes all Canada, U.S., and Caribbean numbers. Forwarding calls to international numbers, e.g. +CC-NN (where the Country Code is not equal to 1), isn’t allowed.

4 - How does voicemail work for forwarded calls?

For a forwarded call, i.e. A calls B but is forwarded to C and is then forwarded to voicemail, the call would be forwarded to the mailbox of C.
