5 easy steps to get started with Koodo Internet

If you already have an existing Koodo Self Serve account, skip this step...
You'll need to register for Self Serve to manage your Internet account. On the day you subscribed for this service, we sent you an order confirmation email with a link to register - please use that link and follow the instructions to get set up.
Self Serve is also the only way to make changes to your plan, view your monthly receipts, or change your payment method.
Download the Koodo Internet app and follow our self-installation instructions to easily install your service, scan, and diagnose network issues. Available on the App Store or Google Play Store.

This is the device that will give you access to wireless home internet.

This is a networking device that allows communication between the internet and the devices in your home.

Set up your modem

Please start the self-installation after your activation is complete. We'll send your activation date to the email address you provided.

Connect the Coaxial Cable

Connect one end of this cable to the connector on the back panel of the modem and connect the other end to your wall outlet. To connect a modem and a TV to the same wall outlet, you must use a cable line splitter (not included). If you need help locating your coaxial cable outlet, check out this article.

Connect the Power Cable

Connect one end of this cable to the modem and the other end to a power outlet.

Booting up Modem

A series of lights will appear and cycle on the modem - this means your modem is getting ready to connect to your network. When the lights are solid green, the setup process has been completed.

Slide modem into stand

Place the modem in the supplied modem stand. This will keep it vertical and improve its performance.

Connect your router

Follow these 5 easy steps to connect your Wi-Fi 6 router to your modem:

Connect the purple of the Ethernet cable (supplied), to the purple port on the Wi-Fi 6 device.

Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the LAN port located on your modem.

Connect one end of the power cable to the Wi-Fi 6 router and the other end to a power outlet.

While your Boost Wi-Fi 6 Lite/Wi-Fi 6 Router initializes, you'll see a flashing green and/or purple light on the front. A solid green light means the setup process is complete. If you don't see a solid green light, follow the instructions in this troubleshooting article.

Your Wi-Fi login credentials for the router are located at the bottom of the device.
To access and/or change these settings:
1. Open a web browser
2. Enter the IP address http://192.168.1.254
3. Log in with the router admin password

Koodo Internet is a subscription-based service, which means you won’t have a monthly bill for it. Instead, your credit card will automatically be charged monthly. Please ensure the credit card you provide is always up-to-date to avoid potential service disruption.
You can easily access and view your monthly receipts here or change your credit card info anytime here.
