Multimedia messaging and browsing services update

As technology evolves, the legacy Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) and browsing platform has reached end-of-life. We’re working on platform upgrades, and as of summer 2023 the legacy platform will no longer be supported.

Please read further to learn how this will affect your services.

Which devices will be affected?

Devices launched after 2017 and sold by TELUS/Koodo will not be affected. All current service features and functionalities will be carried over and supported on the new platforms.

Certain devices launched before 2017 will no longer be compatible with the new platform. Please see below for the list of TELUS-/Koodo-sold devices that will be affected by the service update.

What should I do if my phone will be affected?
