Great news - The SIM card you’ve received is already activated and has a number assigned by us. If you’re transferring your number to Koodo from another provider, before you start, ensure your previous carrier’s SIM is still in your phone and replace it only after your number transfer is complete.

My SIM Card

Great news - The SIM card you’ve received is already activated and has a number assigned by us. If you’re transferring your number to Koodo from another provider, before you start, ensure your previous carrier’s SIM is still in your phone and replace it only after your number transfer is complete.

Self Serve Account

Once you have received your Self Service registration email, you will be able to create your own account by visiting koodo.com/selfserve

Important!

Before you start, ensure your previous carrier’s SIM is still in your phone, and replace it only after Step 4.

  1. Log in to your Self Serve account.
  2. From the Self Serve drop-down menu, select Mobile services.
  3. Next to Manage your phone number, select Manage.
  4. Select Transfer your phone number, then fill in the required information.

Once you initiate the transfer, you’ll receive an authorization SMS on the phone that contains your previous service provider’s SIM card, asking you to authorize the transfer. You must respond within 90 minutes to approve the transfer in order for it to succeed.

Heads up! It can take up to 4 hours for your number to be transferred to Koodo. If you're porting a landline number, it might take up to 2 days to complete the process.

If you have any problems with your phone number transfer, visit Koodo.com/chat and type “port help” to troubleshoot your issue. If we're unable to resolve it, we’ll set you up with a callback from a live rep.

Different sized SIM card

If you need a different sized SIM card, login at koodo.com/selfserve - select “Mobile services” from the the Self Serve drop down and then select “Change your SIM card”. Follow the steps and you’ll be up and running within minutes.
